Basics of electrocardiographic diagnostics in dogs and cats

This workshop is intended for veterinarians working in small-animal internal medicine, with a focus on cardiovascular disorders. The aim is to train participants in correct interpretation of electrocardiograms (ECG) and application of the acquired knowledge in clinical practice. Participants will gain theoretical and practical understanding of ECG diagnostics, learn how ECG is performed, and identify supraventricular and ventricular tachyarrhythmias as well as bradyarrhythmias. Guidelines for treating common arrhythmias will also be covered through clinical examples and end-of-workshop discussion.
